WIKIPEDIA LIES!!!! AGAIN!

Oh, I am so mad and indignant!!! I just saw an article in Wikipedia on women in Kazakhstan.

And it`s an absolute lie from beginning to the end!!!

"almost no women occupy senior positions in the country, either in government or in business." -written there and it is not true!!! As well as "Maternal mortality rates average 80 per 10,000 births for the entire country, but they are believed to be much higher in rural areas. "

Everything is a lie (((

urrghhhhhh!!!

P.S. Sorry, I`ll write something more constructive and digestible after I calm down.

Paradise for recessionistas

Today while surfing the net I found a huge chinese on-line store selling fake designer it-bags like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci etc. Should I say that the fake ones were much cheeper (much-much cheeper) than the original ones. While taking a good look I thought there must be something wrongs with those bags, be cause to me it was impossible that absolutely similar bag could cost this cheep.

BUT!!! When I looked closer to find anything that could betray it`s counterfeit, I couldn`t find it! There was no difference between the fake and original!!! Everything was PERFECT! (But I must mention that I`ve never seen Birkin bag live so I could have missed something. At least visualy both were ok)

Honestly Birkin was the bag of my dreams for many years! I was almost idolizing it. And when I saw the pictures from the site I was like OMFG!

The bag for which the most of women would sell their souls is lyuing on the floor like useless slippers. Tons of bags!

And... I know it`s a shame but an envoius part of me was rejoising and gloating over it.  It felt like unmasking an icon, like I saw an idol falling from a pedestal. I was dissapointed and happy at the same time. I can`t explain it. Perhaps everyone who can`t affort such bag would  feel the same, like "why buy it for thousands of dollars when you can get it for 500?".

However that may be I would like to hear other people`s opinion on it, espesially fasionistas that have (or have an experioence of seing live) authentic Birkin bag. Here are some more pictires from the site. Take a close look and tell me is there any difference?

Reached the purpose

Remember I was whining here about that I have become less beautifull after marriage and having baby? ))))
And promised to pull myself up to become hotter. )) I know, I know that was silly, but as any woman I want to look perfect all the time. Although it`s inpossible to look gorgeous 24/7 I look so once a week. At least :))))

So tadaaaaaa!!! ))

My freind says that I look like our president Nazarbayev in the pic below. I`m not sure if that`s a compliment )))) But some people might think that I`m his daughter. Xoxo.
I`m not... unfortunanely. If I was, I would be in top ten billionaires girls list. )))

So what do you think? Did I reach my purpose? %)

Party-life in Kazakhstan

I am a party victim! It is the same as the fashion victim but addicted to parties. :) Or Partyholic as one of my friends say. So many years I`ve been fighting this passion but I can`t help myself. It is stronger than me. )

When I was unmarried I used to hang out at night clubs for weeks and it was like my natural environment. )

I remember how I spent most of my money on them.
Now when I have beloved husband and wonderful child I don`t party that much but sometimes I go out with friends to relax at club away from diapers and cooking :)

And my most favorite place is ‘Da Freak club’. DFC is being the most popular night club in Kazakhstan for about 5 years. A lot of well known DJs and musicians played there. Actually there is a great number of night clubs in KZ but DFC is my #1 for all times. )

And you know what? Tonight I AM GOING TO PARTAY! Yeeeeeey!!! PARTAY-PARTAY-PARTAY! :)

Here are some pictures of party life in Da Freak Club, Kazakhstan.

This is the club exterior. Looks quite depressive, but it`s only the outside.

One of three dance floors before opening. And my favorite DJ Rustam Ospanov

My friend`s favorite place of club. BAR!!! :)

Celebrty women in KZ

I decided to make a post dedicated to beautiful women of Kazakhstan. :) Several times I`ve been asked if there any cute or beautiful woman in the country so here is my answer (I know I look like a paranoid worrying about what people say and ask, but I don`t want people to think that KZ is full of ugly and bad-looking women) So lets go

1. Sabina Sayakova.

To me she is the one of the most beautiful women of all times. =)

I had luck to work with her in local music channel and she is gorgeous! Smart, beautiful with good sense of humor. What else could anyone dream of? )))

with our mutual friend Mara

She is former host of third season of that ill-fated Superstar KZ project.

2. Next is Bayan Esentaeva.

Actress, singer, producer and VJ. When I first met her she seemed very impolite to me, but then as communicating with her I understood that I was wrong. She is a real business woman with great business acumen.

3. Ekaterina Krasnova.

VJ and Model of the year 2008. Redhead fierce! =)

I also know her personally. She is a very-very smart girl!

4. Asha Matai.

VJ and singer.

5. And Makpal Isabekova.

She took part in the Superstar KZ project. Althogh she didn’t win Makpal is the most popular of all participants of the project. Her voice is AMAZING!

So, this is enough for this post. More to come soon.

And please leave your comment if you liked this post. :)
Thanks.

Thank you Sasha!

Although I understand that Borat is just a comedy… and Sasha is talented actor… and people in the world are not that stupid to believe all that… and… erm… that freestylo guy is just a local village boy that does not represent the whole nation… it feels so hurt when in internet I see someone saying something like ‘Hey, that stupid country of Borats’ or ‘He is so dumb, maybe he`s from Kazakhstan’.

It`s like a stigma, no matter how smart you are or whatever you do people only judge you by ONE (!) silly guy that cannot play domra well and disgraced himself at a foolish TV show. And I`m tired to look at it with humor. You don`t want to laugh when millionth person asks you about women slavery (THERE IS NO SLAVERY IN KZ AT ALL), bear meat, camel parking, father-daughter marriage and other ridiculous and absurd things like that.

COME ON PEOPLE! You are not that dumb are you? You don`t judge America by one man, so don’t judge Kazakhstan by one stupid boy! And you are not that fool to believe a MOVIE! Are you?

Peace!

P.S. Just to mention, did you know that director Timur Bekmambetov that made the movie Wanted starring Angelina Jolie is from Kazakhstan?
And the first man in space Yuri Gagarin flew from space launching site Baikonur that is situated in territory of Kazakhstan.

Oh, what am I saying?

P.P.S. Sorry if I seem rude or a bit agressive. I`m just so tired of people making fun of my home.. (((

Another I`m-so-happy-post =)

If two years ago someone said to me that in 2009 I will become a journalist, happy mother and wife, producer and Japanese sensei I would say ‘Are you kidding me?’ So many things happened in past two years and it is so amazing! Unbelievable!

Before my so-called new life I worked as an English-Russian interpreter in a small company certifying oilfield equipment. That job was sooooo boring and I thought that I`ll spend my whole life sitting in the cramped thick office drowning in tons of paper. 9 to 5 job was killing me. I remember how I hated my life, my job and all the people around. Sometimes it was to stressful.

But everything has changed after I made up my mind to quit the job and start something my own. Who could have thought that I`ll reach this far. Yes for me doing things that I like and getting money for that is a big success. ))) I feel blessed and I`m so grateful for everything that I have now.

This week I became a teacher of Japanese aka sensei!!! :) Being a teacher was kind of big dream for me lately so I feel like my dream came true. Today was third lesson and I feel so happy and proud about it! It feels like I`m continuing to fulfill myself.

Erm… what I`m trying to say is that now I know that everything in our life is in our own hands. Failure, success, everything… I`m so happy.

I`m so happy!

Oooohhh! Finally!!! ! It happened! Yeeeeeeey! Thank you Heaven!
4 months of nerves, headache, tears, sleepless nights and AT LAST - A FIRST TOOTH!!!! Hurray-hurray!
Who could have thought that a little tiny tooth can make anyone this happy :) It means that I am finally going to sleep myself out. :) xoxo

But that`s not all… Usually kids have their first teeth on front lower gum… but Aldy has his first tooth on upper gum! Haha, I knew that he`s a GENIUS. Although I don`t know how upper teeth and genius are related but anyway I love to think that he is. Lol )
And now, when he smiles he looks just like this

I don’t have the proofpic of the ‘MAGIC tooth’ cause he won`t let me take it… but I have some fresh pics taken few days ago… ))) oh yes “crazy mama”, I know… =)
